I use sociology to help me understand what makes people tick. I analyze their preferences, habits, and what makes them unique. By doing this, I can create marketing strategies that really speak to people. It’s all about understanding how different groups of people interact with each other and what they respond to. It’s about human connection. And that’s the key to any successful marketing campaign.
Content marketing lets me combine my passions to get the perfect mix of strategy and creativity. So, let’s work together to create something special!
As a Sociology major, I have always had a keen interest in social behaviour and interactions, so it came as no surprise when I eventually found myself wanting to work in the marketing field. While some may not see the correlation, there is a direct link between sociology and marketing that allows me to fulfill both my passions - using my analytical mind while also exploring my creativity.
Sociology is all about understanding human behaviour; it seeks to understand relationships, social interactions, social tendencies, and decisions. In a similar way, marketing is all about understanding what people want, need, and how to give it to them. It’s like putting a puzzle together.
Marketing that lacks strategy is like a traveller with no destination; just wandering aimlessly. Taking a holistic approach to marketing and having a strategy provides a clear direction for content that is bound to hit the mark.
Creativity is part of my marketing foundation, not only in terms of creating content, but also in coming up with creative solutions to challenges. Creativity is what makes brands stand out in a crowded marketplace.
Community is at the heart of every business, without it there would be no purpose. This is why building relationships within the social community is at the heart of my marketing strategy. Doing so builds trust, fosters engagement, and helps turn customers into brand advocates.
Showing up authentically is something that can set you apart from everyone else, it is easy to recognize inauthenticity. Showing up authentically and helping other businesses do the same is a staple of my values and why I do what I do. Everyone has something unique and valuable to offer, all I do is help showcase what that is.
